Bundaberg Regional Libraries was created after the amalgamation of four local governments in March 2008. Bundaberg Library is the largest branch and has been in operation since 1980. Bundaberg Regional Libraries are funded by Bundaberg Regional Council and have four branches - Bundaberg, Gin Gin, Childers and Woodgate.
In addition to books, magazines, CDs and DVDs, Bundaberg Regional Libraries offer free internet access and Wi-Fi, children's activities, local history and genealogy and visiting author events for all residents of the Bundaberg Region.
